Kadahi Murg (Kadahi Chicken)

An amazing taste of Chicken in this flavor, loved by everyone. Favorite of those, who loves spicy food. None of your guests will be able to guess that this dish is made by you at home.
 
Ingredients for 4 people- 
  1. Chicken - 1/2 kg
  2. Red Chillies- 4
  3. Coriander Seeds- 1tbsp
  4. Ghee - 1/4 bowl
  5. Onion (chopped) -1 (big)
  6. Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  7. Tomatoes (chopped) -2 (big)
  8. Green Chillies (chopped)- 2
  9. Ginger paste - 1.5 tbsp
  10. Cilantro (fresh) - 2tbsp
  11. Brown Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp 
  12. Green Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
  13. Black Pepper Powder - 1 pinch
  14. Cumin Powder- 1pinch
  15. Fenugreek powder( Kastoori Methi) - 1tsp
  16. Fennel Powder - 1 pinch
  17. Salt accoring to taste
Directions - 
  • Roast red Chillies and Coriander seeds and grind them together.
  • Heat Ghee (Unsalted Butter) in a pan, and fry garlic paste till golden brown.
  • Add chopped onions and fry for 2 minutes on high flame.
  • Add the ground spices and stir for a while.
  • Now, Add chopped tomatoes stirring continuously for 2 minutes.
  • Add the green chillies and ginger paste, let it simmer for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Now, add chicken, mix well and cook till almost done.
  • Now, sprinkle salt according to  the taste and cilantro leaves, stir.
  • Add the black pepper powder, brown  cardamom powder, fenugreek powder, cumin powder, green cardamom powder and fennel powder.
  • Stir again and serve.
